Your SIG is listed at the SIG menu and also here: /special-interest-groups

 

1. Authentication

 

To be able to have your profile or manage APSCEs' SIGs, you need to login. Your account should be created by the Managing Secretary.

 

1.1. Login

 

Click the Sign-In icon at the top-left corner of any page.

or go to the link /login 

The Sign in page will request your email and password.

*Notice: For the first time use, please use the Forgotten your password function

 

1.2. Request new password

 

By clicking to Forgotten your password? button, you will see this form

if you see the message 

We can't find a user with that email address.

That means you need support at [email protected] . Maybe we used another email of yours to create your account.

 

1.3. Profile Edit

 

Upon logged in, you can navigate to Profile Edit to manage your information

 

2. SIG Management

 

To be able to manage Group, please find the Management section and select Groups

By select group in the table, you can edit its information and also events, posts (news)

The management is designed using tabs. You can click to each tabs to see its content.

 

2.1. General Information

 

At the Information tab, you can manage information like: SIG Name, URL, Email, Logo, Description,...

*Note: this Email will be used to receive contact form sent to your SIG

 

2.2. Internal Documents

 

Documents posted here will not public but can be seen by SIG co-chairs or members. To add more Documents, click to Add Document. The Description is optional.

 

 

Related links will be shown in the SIG page like this

2.4. Membership

 

You can manage current members, past members of your SIG using Membership tab

To create new one, click button New Membership

To edit an existed membership, click to the table.

You can select user by type their name, their institution will also show up if its available.

Membership Type can be: Admin, Chair, Co-Chair, Advisor, Member

Admin role have full permission to the SIG, except they will not be listed in the Members part of your SIG

Chair role have full permission to the SIG,

Co-Chair, Advisor, Member can login to see SIG internal documents.

Except Admin role, all will be listed in the Members part of your SIG.

SIG can have events (Instruction to be done)

SIG can have News (Instruction to be done)

 

2.7. Contact Form

 

All SIG Contact Form submissions will be listed here
