Abstract :
A system called GENTORO that supports children's collaborative storytelling is presented. By using GENTORO, children create a story plot, draw its scenes, and make robots play the story in the physical world augmented with graphical images through handheld projectors. The GENTORO system has been tested in an elementary school class, in order to investigate how the system can support children in thinking logically, expressing their ideas in their story, and making robots play the story in a collaborative manner. Lessons learned through the educational practice are discussed.
